Rebecca Rayson
When interior design is done well the details can go almost effortlessly unnoticed but the feeling it creates can be a memory remembered long after you leave.
My earliest memory of interior design was being taken on a site visit by my Dad, who was a project manager, to see a large scale residential project being created. Back in his office I would stare at the plans trying to make sense of them and peek into the design studio to wander around the fabric library. It fascinated me that from nothing, something so special could be created and that is still a feeling that drives me today.

Get to know me...
Hi, I'm Rebecca (also often known as Bex) and I've been in the interior design industry for fifteen years. Interior Design as a discipline pairs well with my eye for detail, creative flair and task management skills. I love to create designs that break the mold and produce a concept that the client might not yet have even imagined, that interests and engages but also leaves a user feeling completely at ease.
The influence for my style comes from a wide range of sources including current contemporary design, travel, fashion and even historical references. I enjoy mixing contemporary finishes with traditional furnishings, fresh paint colours with weathered, reclaimed timber and plush new fabrics with antique artworks to create scheme with contrast and depth. My design work is both creative and imaginative without sacrificing practicality.
As a designer I have a wealth of experience working alongside contractors, electricians, architects and structural engineers on projects. I have worked with specialist suppliers on one off items for schemes to deliver bespoke finishes for clients. I am confident working to a tight deadline and a controlled budget. I have great relationships with suppliers, QS’s and contractors across the industry and I am highly organised. Alongside this I also project manage on site taking ideas from initial concept sketches to fully resolved interiors.
When it comes to computer skills and design programmes I am competent working with all forms of the Adobe package. I also use Sketchup and have trained experience in the VRay rendering system. I am highly experienced in using AutoCAD and having worked on mixed use developments I am comfortable with complex and detailed drawings.
Overall my skills as a designer range from my knowledge of structural forms to my creative flair and eye for detail. I strive to complete rounded designs that not only fulfill exceed a client’s expectations.
